The Polsky Building is closed Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025.
The Polsky Building is closed tomorrow, Wednesday Dec. 10, due to no heat. It is unknown at this time when the building will reopen but updates will be shared. Essential personnel who work in Polsky should report at their regularly scheduled times. Employees should contact their supervisor if they are unsure whether they are essential personnel. Nonessential personnel who are unable to work remotely should check with their supervisor for instructions.
Faculty are encouraged to switch to remote learning if possible. If faculty cannot switch to remote learning, please coordinate with classroomsched@uakron.edu to relocate their classrooms. Faculty should also announce any changes via email or Brightspace.
